My Magnificent and Marvelous Teacher

Teacher Appreciation Gifts!
You may remember the M&M Poem from last year.

I found the small clear paint cans from Michael's Craft Store.
We decorated our cans with Teacher Stickers from Stickopotamus Back To Class SPSN03.
(The stickers may no longer be available).
One large bag of M&M's 42 Ounce size (Walmart) will fill two cans.

We attached My Magnificent and Marvelous Teacher poem to the cards along with a note.

Green is for the inspiration you give me each day.
Blue is for your patience in showing me the way.
Orange is for your warmth and caring style.
Yellow is for the way you always make me smile.
Red is for my life that you have touched this year.

You place knowledge in my hands,

that melt into my heart and live forever!
You're a "Magnificent" & "Marvelous" Teacher!
Thank you for being my M&M!

The teachers will love their little bucket of MandM's and especially the poem. They can't get praised enough for all they do. They are building the future citizens of our country.

Um, one question tho: What about the brown M&M's?? What do they stand for? (or maybe we should just remove & eat all of them as we fill the can! LOL!) :)

here is a line for the color brown: my husband and I came up with this option..... Brown is for the knowledge I've yet to hear

A student did give me that last year. It was a tear producing event especially since the child was a joy to teach. To have 24 students like her would have been a dream. She always did her best and was ready to help everyone anytime. She inspired me daily.

HI there!! I love this idea and am going to use it this year for my kids 3 different teachers. Is there something anyone would recommend to decorate the jar with if one can't find them stickers? Thanks for a great idea!!

How about using markers made for plastic or glass? I know Crayola makes them for glass but they wipe off easily. There are probably permanent ones that would work better. Or cut out pictures & glue them to the container--esp. pictures of the teacher/class/school/activities.
Just my thoughts... :)

I really like these. They remind me of some Colorado Christmas ornaments I got several years ago. I've lost them since then but now I can do something like this.
